HPCC offers complex services in drilling from professional geophysical and hydrological surveys, underground investigations to drilling technique and water infrastructure development. Drilling is used in such areas as mineral extracting, construction, investigations, but the most important here, in Afghanistan, where properly monitored drilling is very important, is the construction of water well system. The level of underground water and climate are always changing in Afghanistan. It is becoming important to monitor the condition of existing wells and establish new wells according to the environmental research, quality control, and observation of proper health standards. Moreover, it is crucial to monitor well water for bacterial presents right after construction, plus continue annual checks of water quality. Selecting the correct contractor is crucial for: site selection, well construction, monitoring of safeguard water contamination, and it ensures longevity of the well. An improperly constructed well can have surface water entering the well and contaminating not only that particular well, but also the aquifer of the community. Improperly made or abandoned wells are potential source of ground water contamination.
